Short Bio

Mobile Cloud Lab is headed by Prof. Dr. Satish Narayana Srirama. He deals with research and training around the cloud computing and mobile application development domains. He is also the principle investigator of several European Commission projects and leads the collaborative research with several international research institutions and companies. He received his PhD in computer science and Masters in Software Systems Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, Germany and Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Systems Engineering from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India. Prior to joining UT he worked as PostDoc at RWTH Aachen University. He has also been a visiting researcher at Ericsson Research, Aachen, Germany (2003 – 2008). Dr. Srirama has co-authored around 110 refereed publications in international conferences and journals. He is also a program committee member of several international conferences and workshops. He was adjudged the “Researcher of the year – 2011” by Institute of Computer Science, University of Tartu. His current research focuses at cloud computing, mobile application development, mobile cloud, mobile web services, Internet of Things and migrating scientific computing and enterprise applications to the cloud.
